Terms of service

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from The Beauty Hill, a custom wig and hair business based in Maryland, United States.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Your Order

When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products you selected.

Your order is confirmed once full payment has been successfully processed.

For custom wigs, production cannot begin until we have also received all required head measurements and customization details.

We reserve the right to contact you if we need additional information to complete your order.

2. Prices & Payment

All prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.

Full payment is required when you place your order. We do not accept deposits.

Payments are processed through the payment methods available at checkout, including Shopify-supported payment providers, Stripe and/or PayPal.

Applicable taxes will be charged where required.

3. Custom Made Wigs

Our custom wigs are made to order according to the measurements and customization details provided by each customer.

Our standard processing time is 14 calendar days.

The 14-day processing period begins only after we receive:

  • Full payment
  • All required measurements
  • Complete customization details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements.

Changes requested after production has started may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

4. Delivery

Processing and delivery are separate.

Once your wig has been completed and shipped, tracking information will be sent to you.

Delivery times depend on the shipping carrier and service selected.

If we cannot ship within the timeframe we promised, we will contact you regarding the delay and provide the cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.

5. Cancellations & Returns

Because custom wigs are made specifically for each customer, custom orders cannot generally be cancelled for a change of mind once production has started.

Custom wigs are also not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges after completion.

Hair bundles must remain unused, unaltered, in their original packaging, and hygiene-sealed to qualify for an approved change-of-mind return.

These restrictions do not affect your rights if your order is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

6. Fit & Measurements

Customers are responsible for submitting accurate head measurements.

If your wig was made correctly according to the measurements you submitted but does not fit because those measurements were inaccurate, alteration or reconstruction fees may apply.

If a fit issue is caused by an error on our part, we will work with you to correct it.

Fit concerns should be reported within 2 days of delivery.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us at hello@infothebeautyhill.com.

Please provide your order number and photos or videos showing the issue.

We will review your claim and provide an appropriate remedy as required by applicable law.

8. Human Hair

Because human hair is a natural product, minor variations in color, texture, wave or curl pattern may occur.

These natural variations do not automatically mean that the hair is defective.
